It looks like Raymond is finally waking up to the benefits of Solar power tied to energy storage.  Yes it is a capital expenditure but it lowers your energy costs and is cleaner power.  The benefit of the battery is when the grid goes down, you can keep on loading trucks out.  You then have the ability to do a scheduled shutdown if needed.

I have been using Solar electricity since 2000.  In 2013 I went grid interactive and have not paid a power bill since.  The most expensive part of my system is the batteries. 

I see now why Electrovaya is already planning to go to Phase 2 at Jamestown.  Energy storage uses lots of batteries.  Between Raymonds energy storage drive and Toyota's R&D center going in at Monroe county NY, things are looking up for Electrovata's Jamestown plant.
