Net USA Theatrical Revenues to Benefit Animal Rights Charity
LOS ANGELES, CA -- Jan 2, 2008 -- EMPIRE FILM GROUP, INC. (Other OTC:EFGU.PK) will donate all of its net theatrical revenues from the forthcoming release of the comedy "BLONDE AND BLONDER" to the animal rights charity PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals), an organization supported by the film's star, Pamela Anderson. The film will open in theatres across the U.S.A. on January 18th, and is expected to generate tens-of-thousands of dollars for PETA.
"We wanted to do something different and something positive," said Eric Parkinson, CEO of Empire Home Entertainment, the distribution division of Empire Film Group. "The agreement to donate theatrical revenues to PETA was important to Pamela Anderson and could inspire greater attendance for the film. Their group performs important educational and legislative work for animal rights, and we're honored to support them."
"Blonde and Blonder" is a new comedy starring Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards as two good-intentioned but intellectually-challenged ladies in an adventure of mistaken identities. The film also stars Emmanuel Vaugier ("Saw IV") and the comic duo of John and Kevin Farley, brothers of the late comedian Chris Farley. The film was directed by Empire Film Group, Inc. CEO Dean Hamilton Bornstein. Pamela Anderson has been a supporter and spokesperson for PETA for over ten years.

Hilarious "Blonde and Blonder" finds the perfect comedic color
(Premiere Reviews, Los Angeles, CA, Jan. 2, 2008) There's something special about the new comedy "Blonde and Blonder" that makes you want to smile through the whole film. It's not the surprisingly solid comedic performances from Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards, or the impressive assortment of various mobster, detectives and supporting characters. It's the tone, which director Dean Hamilton has skillfully balanced between innocent humor and sophomoric absurdity. True the film's press materials, "Blonde and Blonder" finds its strength from combining the appealing characters of "Legally Blonde" with the downright goofiness of "Dumb and Dumber." The final product is a thoroughly pleasing comedy that will appeal to a broad variety of audiences.
Anderson and Richards play two clueless blondes who witness a mob hit and are mistakenly identified as the killers. This sets into motion a complex series of events with compounding mistakes made by the blondes driving the action and comedy. Kevin and John Farley are especially hilarious as two, bumbling mob henchmen, bringing to life the memory of their famous late brother, Chris Farley. Emmanuelle Vaugier and Meghan Ory are sassy, sexy and fun as the real mob killers, now out for revenge against the blondes for stealing their assignments and fame. Adding yet another layer to the plot, the police are on a manhunt for all of them, which sets the stage for a wacky but logical finale.
Technical credits are solid, with crisp cinematography by C. Kim Miles, and great comic timing from editor Stan Cole whose many feature credits include "A Christmas Story," "Baby Geniuses" and the thematically similar "Porky's." Overall, Premiere Reviews gives the film nine stars (out of ten) with a recommendation for all audiences.
