Erin Ventures Inc. is pleased to announce the commencement of its 2011 exploration program on 36 lode Quartz mineral claims located in the Yukon. The program conducted by Homegold Resources Ltd will include field mapping, prospecting and a geochemical survey over the claim area. The program is expected to be complete by mid June 2011.

The Erin Ventures claims (known as the AU Claims) are directly to the northeast, approximately 14 km from Underworld's White Gold discovery (since acquired by Kinross Gold) and are adjacent to Underworld Resources’ White Gold Property. Erin's claims appear to host similar metasedimentary stratigraphy as the Underworld White Gold project, as outlined in GSC mapping by Gordey and Ryan.

The AU Claims are located in an area thought to have the potential to host Carlin type gold mineralization, however, this has yet to be confirmed by exploration. This region is expected to see significant exploration activity during the coming work season.
