Thanks very much, but it was a depiction of mineralization was not just rock units. On the southeast border of the breccia, the schist was shown as mineralized.

References to the gold a Sandy Mountain are in several State of Wyoming and Wyoming geologic society publications. The basis for most are reports by geologist Dan Hausel ( an easy reference is the Lost Muffler Mine and Hausel) and several mining companies. The consensus is for greater than a million ounces at Sandy Mountain with additional gold mineralization not explored enough for an estimate. One report I read last night inferred that the million plus ounces did not include mineralization projected to occur continuing deeper. As posted previously, shallow drilling by ACNC to the southeast in the Antelope Basin discovered 255 feet of .024 oz gold mineralization and still further southeast the one hole drilled by EVG hit gold though the drill went off course.
