I'd starting looking for results in about two to three weeks. But, maybe not until later in July. While the drilling may be flying along producing lots of core, that core must be careful boxed and moved and the next step which is tedious and time consuming; that is sawing the core. Core doesn't come out in long solid pieces, but has many area of weakness which break it up. Each piece may have to be kept oriented, inspected, logged and sawed and maybe photographed. Half of the core is boxed and logged for storage and the split is sacked transported to the prep lab. After the prep lab recieves the core it must be cushed and mixed with the resulting pulp divided into the sample for analytical lab and into a stored reserve sample. From the prep lab in the US the sample is flown to Toronto, Canada where is it analyzed using several methods. The reported values must be compiled and documented. So even with priority from the lab, which can mean a big saving in time, the physical acts required to move the samples long require a lot of manhours. Here's the route as I understand it: from Wyoming to Colorado, from Colorado to Nevada, from Nevada to Toronto. But that's not all.
When and what to report? Is it better to report a partial hole, each hole, or group of holes? Some of the first holes i.e, #16 maybe be very long. If you remember hole six ended in high grade. Hole sixteen, the first hole of this new season, I believe is also exploring this high grade, which may mean it'll be even longer than hole six. How long that is I don't know off hand, but hole six was somewhere in the 1500 to 1800 foot range., so hole 16 may be longer. That's a lot of core to saw from just this one hole. If like last year several holes were reported at a time. If EVG waits, for say, the first three holes in the the northstock that may mean in the neighborhood of 800-900 individual samples for three holes. That's a lot of rock to be handled and ground into powder. Be patient, once the assay reporting begins there should be a steady and rhythmic reporting of results.
