Also, the hole ended in what seems to be what they consider to be rock which is a prime candidate to contain gold, and the last 70 m still have not been returned from the lab.

It seems to me I read somewhere (probably a previous post) that the Carlin trend deposits were deep underground veins rather than diffused gold for open pit mining.

One good thing is that even with all the extra drilling, they still have $17 million in the treasury.
