Dec 13 (Reuters) - Exploration-stage company Evolving Gold Corp <EVG.TO> said it intersected significant lengths and grades of gold at its Rattlesnake Hills project in Wyoming, sending its shares up 16 percent.

All four drill holes at the North Stock gold zone in the project intersected gold mineralization, confirming the continuity and extent of the central portion of the core gold zone, the Vancouver-based company said.

One of its drill holes intersected 332.2 meters at 1.28 grams per ton of gold, including 42.7 meters at 3.91 grams per ton of gold, and included 16.8 meters at 7.26 grams per ton of gold.

Another drill hole intersected 138.7 meters at 1.15 grams per ton of gold.

Evolving Gold's shares, which have gained 24 percent since the company started drilling at Rattlesnake Hills in June, were up 16 percent at C$1.25 in afternoon trade on Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
