Here is a stratigraphy chart of the basin. The report makes a lot more sense when you can actually see where the different formations are in relation to each other. It's interesting that there may be two BCGA's. One is in the Moroak Sandstone, and the other in the Bessie Creek Sandstone. Obviously these BCGA's need to be proven by drilling.
I've added the Ryder Scott numbers to the chart to make things easier. As you can see, most of the gas could be in the Bessie Creek Sandstone BCGA, which is the target of the Shanandoah-1 well. For some reason Petrohunter stopped drilling at 1555 meters, even though the original planned depth was 3000 m. Falcon now plans to go 3250 meters.
The basin is goes to an estimated depth of 10,000 meters, but the Bessie Creek formation is the deepest suspected reservoir.
There is also a significant difference between Ben Laws estimate and Ryder Scott's estimate of the gas in place for the Moroak BCGA.
Ben Law:
Moroak Sandstone: 119 TCF
Bessie Creek Sandstone: 174.9 TCF
Ryder Scott:
Moroak Sandstone: 29.61 TCF
Bessie Creek Sandstone: 210 TCF
