"MOL successfully concluded,......... XOM succesfully completed.....".and they are mostly pleased to announce.....

It is the wording that hurts:

If you count on the wording, then the Földeak fracs were successful too.

Look at their own statement of late, what does it say ?

.................

The lower fracture stimulation at 4,358 meters was ........... completed successfully yielding average gas flow rates of approximately 200,000 standard cubic feet (6,000 cubic meters) per day and average water flow rates of approximately 15 to 370 barrels (2.5 to 60 cubic meters) per day over a 10 day period.

The upper fracture stimulation at 4,200 meters was ........... completed successfully yielding average gas flow rates of approximately 50,000 standard cubic feet (1,415 cubic meters) per day and average water flow rates of approximately 1,200 to 3,100 barrels (200 to 500 cubic meters) per day over a 46 hour period (the well is flowing as of the date of this press release).

and we all know what it was......

While they "completed successfully" rumours about a leaking crew and a failure in each well were also spread.

As long as XOM does not explain the results either to stay or walk away,we can only dream about Phase two.But it is hard to handle the results we know about, they are really not very promising.

Maybe Bruner knew exactly what he did, when he never really touched the Szolnok himself, remember what happened to the "Szolnok plan" .......

If you were XOM what would you do next with 100 000 000 cash on hands to waste ?

Drill another Földeak?I would not touch the Földeak within a radius of 3 miles again, would you?So what is left to go for ?

Down to 6000 meter ? To the hot pot ? Földeak is in the middle of the trough.

They have water influx proven for a distance of 1000 feet in the Szolnok.

Can you imagine to go on in the MAKO ?

And why did XOM not reenter the MAGY or drill a new well (for the same money) with four laterals,as he stated in the MAGY CC ?

Whenever XOM decides to go on,we could be deeply grateful and thank God forever, otherwise the money will not be far from gone.
