Exxons pie chart doesnt have a very large wedge for unconventional in Europe, so one of the questions asked was why. Answer was that unconventional gas in Europe is still in it's early stages, they are still gathering data. Still lots of science to do. But Exxon has high hopes, and that's why they have assembled their acreage positions. European governments are also very anxious for indigenous resource base because of energy security.
