Vancouver, B.C. – ACADEMY VENTURES INC. (“Academy” or the “Company”) Academy Ventures (ACV: TSX-V) is pleased to announce it has engaged Mantis Capital Partners Ltd., (“Mantis”) to assist with the design and implementation of a comprehensive investor communications and market awareness program for the company, subject to regulatory approval.
Mantis Capital will be responsible for coordinating and managing a significant part of Academy’s marketing and communications efforts, including establishing a set of formal communications protocols, making direct introductions to key members of the investment community and fostering relationships with Academy’s existing shareholders.
Under the 6-month renewable agreement, Mantis will receive a monthly service fee in the amount of CDN $5,000 plus GST per month for months 1 & 2, CDN $6,000 plus GST per month for months 3 & 4 and CDN $7,500 plus GST per month for the remainder of the term. Subject to regulatory authorities’ approval and sixty days (60) after August 1st, Academy will grant Mantis 100,000 options exercisable at the Discounted Market Price on the day of issuance, to vest in accordance with exchange provisions and expiring on the earlier of two years after grant or 30 days following termination of this agreement. This agreement has been negotiated entirely at arm's length. Mantis is located in Vancouver, B.C.
