First Uranium resumes production at Ezulwini mine

TORONTO - First Uranium Corp. says it will resume production at its Ezulwini gold mine in South Africa after one of its workers died in an accident last weekend.

The Toronto-listed gold and uranium company said operations in the section where the fatality occurred will restart next week after the miners working in that area are retrained with new safety precautions.

The work halt was initially issued by the Department of Mineral Resources.

First Uranium has its headquarters in Toronto but its main operations are in South Africa.
