Focus Ventures closes $6-million offering

FOCUS COMPLETES $6.0 MILLION FINANCING

Focus Ventures Ltd. has completed its previously announced, non-brokered private placement of $6-million by issuing eight million units at a price of 75 cents per unit. The company paid $105,018 cash and issued 409,477 units and 549,500 warrants as finders' fees in connection with the financing.

Each private placement unit consists of one common share and one-half of a share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant entitles the holder to purchase an additional common share exercisable for two years at a price of $1. The private placement shares and warrants have a resale restriction until March 27, 2010.
