01:54 PM EST, 11/21/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Osisko Mining (OSK.TO) edged higher after the company on Wednesday said infill drilling at its Windfall gold project in northern Quebec showed very high levels of gold mineralization.

The company said best results from its latest round of a 800,000 meter exploration drilling program at the property included 83.9 grams per tonne of gold over 5.3 meters of core, 89.3 gpt over 2.4 meters and 56.3 gpt over 3.3 meters.

The company said the current focus of its drilling program is "on infill drilling within the main Windfall gold deposit and the adjacent Lynx deposit."

Osisko shares were last seen up $0.02 to $2.56. The shares have traded between $1.60 and $3.86 over the past 12 months.
