Hi Long,
I got into FCO in April after selling Blue Pearl way too early. It seemed a similar story to molybdenum ie. a specialty metal with growing demand and a Canadian Co. to boot.
While I have been in and out of the market since the 80's, I am kind of a techie guy and I had never owned a resource stock until 2 years ago. It was hard to deny that resources was the place to be over the past 5 years. I didn't have a clue about how to do DD on a mining co. and was reduced to tips from BNN and BB's (I know, I know).
FCO's board on SH introduced me to stock bashing and since I am always facinated by how different individuals and organizations find new ways of exploiiting the Internet I began to follow bashers. At first I couldn't believe that an Internet post could influence a stock price but it became clear that some fairly smart money does. In the end Bashers led me to ARU.
I wasn't totally kidding when I suggested Foxtrot start a Basher Index website. I think with a little patience, this pet theory of mine is likely to prove out in the end.
Beaver
P.S. FCO doesn't meet my theory's criteria in that I don't think the bashers of that stock are paid for their efforts.
Happy Holidays.
