Well, I hope what we seen today is just the beginning. I took advantage of today's jump in price. I couldn't resist selling off a portion of my FCO holdings at the .73 mark, for a better than 50% increase. I suspect it will drop back down over the next few days, when I will pick them back up, again along with extra shares. Also I like the fact that I am sheltered in a registered pension fund. It beats the you know what, of having to fork it over in taxes at this point in life.
Not certain yet what prompted today's action. However, I imagine today's increase in price and in volume, will attract even greater action in the weeks to come. Just think what will happen when we get the kind of news we are waiting for. Those of us who are in on the ground floor will stand to benefit the most. I am hoping we will see a repeat of what happened to WWAT in the past year. That's one I think still has a lot of potential. I wouldn't be surprised that General Electric will eventually show some interest in this one, considering their interest in water. Who knows, this could happen sooner rather than later.
I do intend to increase my holdings in FCO. However FCO has to present the kind of opportunities it has today. She has to pay her own way, without me having to fork out any more of own hard earned cash.
