Don,t understand how/why Agoracom made this site, and does not seem to promote it
Maybe its just a private clique..click ....
Leaders suggest to keep it that way, but yet they put the site in/on their favorite lists..

First of all, a note of thanks to George and Andreas for kindly setting up The 300 Club for the ARU board refugees. Your efforts are much appreciated guys!
The Board
This is an open discussion board, so the off-topic board is a bit redundant, unless people want to use it for posting images or jokes. The only rule here is to try and keep it interesting and informative for your fellow members, and of course the usual house rules on decorum and language also apply.
Privacy
Please keep the URL private, as that is the only barrier to entry here, there being no password as such. The URL itself can't be searched, and it doesn't appear anywhere on the Agoracom site, so we are effectively private as long as we maintain security of the URL. I would recommend NOT bookmarking it if your bookmarks are on a shared computer. It's easy enough to remember anyway - just go to the Agoracom home page, then type /ir/300 at the end of that URL, hit return/enter, and you're there.
Invitations
This is something the group should decide. That could be our first topic of conversation - do we want to invite new people, and if so, under what conditions?
Hub Leaders
You'll notice safeharbour and ebear listed as hub leaders, but this is just a formality. We don't have bashers and spammers coming in now, and we all know and respect each other from time spent together on the other board, so there shouldn't be much for a hub leader to do. I'll continue to maintain the mailing list, but there shouldn't be much need for general mailings beyond today.
OK, enough said already! Let's get started and make this a fun and informative place to gather!
