Been reading this board this morning and want to applaud your efforts here to revise the voting/ranking system. In my time here with Agoracom, I too have seen many really effective Hub Leaders demoted by trigger happy new ID's looking to settle a score. I myself have been on the losing end of that battle, at least 3 or 4 times. It is a frustrating pursuit. Was encouraged to see that appointed Hub leaders no longer get busted down, unless they are banned obviously. Unfortunately this move came after many good people were hit.

I appreciate your efforts to open dialog on this issue and the suggestions that have been brought forth regarding voting on the treasurer level and higher. This will allow a new poster ample time to form a more complete opinion of another before he/she casts a vote. Many say that a member is only as good as his/her last post. I disagree. I take into consideration many aspects before I vote. Some change their minds every time a new post is made. Has the frequency of voting ever been considered? The amount of times you can hit one person in the course of a day or week etc.??? In the heat of many board disputes I have seen scores change before my eyes.

Obviously there are many small adjustments that can be made which will enhance the Agoracom experience, but I am very encouraged that concerns here are taken seriously and that the Admistration here is continually making this a tighter ship while allowing incredible leeway for personal expression.

Thank-you,

Pam/OG
