OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 9, 2009) - Galahad Metals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GAX)("the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Toni Wallis, P. Geo. as a Director of the company. Ms. Wallis is a Professional Geologist with 25 years experience in the mining industry in Canada, the United States and Australia.

Most recently Ms. Wallis had been an analyst with Canaccord Capital for five years with the mining team in Vancouver, covering junior uranium and precious metal companies.

Prior to that Ms. Wallis had worked for 10 years with Pincock, Allen& Holt, an international mining consulting firm based in Denver, Colorado, as a research geologist in the business development and publications group.

Ms. Wallis obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours I) from the University of New England, Australia. She is a registered Professional Geologist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (APEGBC), a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM), and a member of the Society for Economic Geologists (MSEG).
