Via has put out a very detailed press release on the rebuilt F40s. See below.

Delivery schedule stays as 9 this year and 15 each year to 2012.

The next trains to come out are 6443 and 6457, which are to be released late July or early August to maintain the delivery schedule of nine and create room for next year's production.
