LONDON, ON, Aug. 19 /CNW/ - Global Railway Industries Ltd., - (GBI:TSX): Global Railway Industries Ltd., www.globalrailway.com, ("Global" or the "Company"), a leading North American provider of railway products and services, announced today that Bill Sturtz, the Company's Chief Marketing Officer, is leaving Global Railway Industries, Ltd. effective September 1, 2009 to pursue other opportunities. "Bill has been with the company for three years and has been a valued asset to our organization. The whole Global Team will miss Bill's positive "Can Do" attitude", said Terry McManaman, Chairman, President & CEO of Global Railway.

Terry McManaman thanked Sturtz for his dedicated loyal contributions to Global, first as the Chief Operating Officer and more recently as the Company's Chief Marketing Officer. Bill Sturtz has over 20 years of engineering and manufacturing experience at a senior level with a focus on manufacturing, material sourcing, quality control and business excellence in factory environments. Bill has degrees in Master Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
