Via Rail 6454 was released from CAD this week. This is the fourth one to be completed, and their remains 5 to be delivered in the current year.

What is most interesting about this delivery is that it was made roughly 3 weeks after the previous delivery.

This MAY be an indication that CAD has finally got its production efficiencies in place as that is the pace of deliveries required to meet their commitments in 2010 to 2012.

Having efficient production would translate into much stronger margins for CAD and an eventual return to profit for Global.
