Very true, and I agree about the need for a fiat currency and that most currencies are in the same boat, but stranger things have happened. Heck, the Euro was introduced not so long ago....why not replace the USD with a new Global Dollar? The Chinese have been rattling the cage lately about the demise of the USD as they are the ones that hold the most of them.

I think the Loonie is actually one of the best currencies around but, alas we are too tied to the USD.

Of course, all of this makes a strong case to tie a currency back to the only physical element that can properly stored and traded...which is gold.

All that aside, this is not on the radar quite yet for GNH!

Had lunch with my buddy from Barrick yesterday. He just got back from a tour of South America and their mines. They are hugely focused in South America, Africa, Australia and of all places, Nevada,,which is past it's peak and the Nevada gov't is looking to squeeze the miners to compensate for the massive tourism defecit.

Africa is too dangerous and politically unsound. I asked about Canada? His response was that they wouldn't even bother with something less than 6M oz and all the good deposits have been mined. I bit my tongue....but I know of a place.

In time.

I feel there could be some results coming down the pipe from FSG and Lavals Mountain in the not so distant future here. As per usual, I think literally anything positive from any of our future targets will be telling us a tremendous deal about our unfolding story...but I also think that we are part of a limited few who are aware of this. Well, us and Osisko...but they're just a $5B company. Hmph.

I'm due for a call to Sasha to get an update. I'll try and get one in and share anything with y'all by the end of week...but as always and seriously...feel free to call him if you wish!
