Hi cockerel,

I've amended the title to include OT as I think this discussions is starting to head out of direct relevance to AUM and mining.

I'm not criticising your method, your family or the way you plan to spend you holidays, but personally I think a multiple choice like this is just too simplistic. Americas problems are varied and immensely complex. I think this stark choice, including 'other' is very rooted in the 1960's political mentality I eluded to earlier. I think young people see things in much less "black and white".

Manipulation, political control, propoganda, intimidation & corruption are components of all choices of the political spectrum and no one choice will eradicate these. I see these kinds of labels as various medicines perscribed for percieved symptoms... not a cure for a serious illness. What is the answer? I wish I knew... I just know it isn't what you have in America today.
