Philippe Giaro
Position: President and CEO

Mr. Giaro is a graduate in geology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where he received an Honours B.Sc. diploma in 1984. He possesses a solid background in mineral exploration acquired through his involvement in mining projects for various commodities, with an emphasis on gold, in North and South America. From 1984 to 2000 he held various positions from geologist and project manager for junior and major mining houses such as COGEMA and Falconbridge to Vice-President Exploration of a Canadian listed junior exploration company, Dianor Resources Inc. Between 2000 and 2005, Mr. Giaro was involved in commercial development and project management for a Belgian based engineering firm, Basse Sambre ERI, with a geographical focus on Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Mr Giaro joined SearchGold as Vice-President Exploration in 2005 and has been president of the Company since 2006.

Denis Tremblay
Position: Vice President, Corporate Secretary

Mr Tremblay completed a B.A in Economics from Laval University with additional training in securities. He worked for the Royal Bank of Canada as an account manager, shortly after was appointed Vice-president Investor relations for an investor relations firm and in 1999, he founded AGM Corporate Services Inc., an advisory firm offering strategic, legal and specialized management services to publicly traded companies. Mr Tremblay is an officer of Searchgold since 1997.

Isabelle Gauthier
Position: CFO

Mrs Gauthier, completed a B.A. in Administration from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and is member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec since 1998. She worked for Raymond, Chabot, Grant, Thornton a chartered accountant firm as an auditor from 1996 to 2006. Through her involvement of ten years in various assignments, she acquired a solid experience in management and financial reporting. In 2004 and 2005, she acted as the principal director in SearchGold audits. That role allowed her to acquire a specific experience in the mining industry. In 2006, when she decided to work as an independent, she provided financials services to SearchGold.

Laurence Huss
Position: Vice President Exploration

Mrs. Huss is a graduate in geology from Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), Chicoutimi, Canada, where she received an M.Sc. in 2002. She possesses a solid experience in mining exploration through her implication in exploration and development for various commodities in North and South America as well as Africa. From 1994 to 2000, she worked as a project geologist for Golden Star in French Guyana; during this period she also executed several mandates for the Quebec Ministry of Energy and Resources in parallel with research work. Between 2000 and 2006, Mrs. Huss was involved in the evaluation, the development and the management of exploration mining projects, notably for groupe IOS services géoscientifiques. Since 2007, she was project geologist for SearchGold on the Booué-Mimongo project located in Gabon, Africa

Florent Baril
Position: Director

Mr. Baril is a metallurgical engineer specialized in mining operations and ore treatment with more than 45 years of experience, including 25 years in Canadian mining companies at different levels (metallurgist, mill manager, mine manager, etc.) and more than 25 years as a consultant for engineering firms in Montreal. During these years, he was responsible for the start-up of mining operations and for the construction and expansion of many concentrators for precious metals, base and industrial metals. He directed a minimum of 10 pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for mining projects in Canada, South America, Mexico, North and West Africa, for Canadian and foreign companies and for international organisations such as the World Bank, the African Bank of Development and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). Mr. Baril is the president and founder of BUMIGEME inc., a Montreal-based engineering firm that operates at the national level as well as on the international scene. He is also a board member for 3 Canadian mining companies.

Roy Corrans
Position: Director

Mr. Corrans is a geologist with over 36 years of experience in base metals, precious metals, uranium and industrial minerals exploration, evaluation and mining across Africa gained with the major international mining group, Anglo American. From 1987 to 2001, while with them, he held the positions of General Manager Exploration / Consulting Geologist and Senior Vice President Exploration. He has since worked as a consultant and added to his extensive international work experience in Africa, North America, Australasia, Europe and the Far East. Perhaps most notably, Mr. Corrans was responsible for the discovery of the Epoch nickel deposit (Zimbabwe) as well as the Skorpion oxide zinc deposit (Namibia). Mr. Corrans is currently Chairman and Director of African Copper PLC whose main asset is the Dukwe copper project in Botswana. A director of several small companies with mineral interests registered in Belgium, Luxembourg, Australia and South Africa, Mr. Corrans is a registered Professional Natural Scientist, a Fellow of the Geological Society of South Africa and a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists.
