The really exciting aspect is that surface mining ( for the most part ) is mined out, it does not exist anymore, hence the exploits of modern mining exploration techniques and the mining of poyrphry deposits at 1gt cutoffs of 50 million ton deposits to generate a million ounces. High grade mining just doesnt exist anymore, this is why Carrier and the gang may have a tiger by the tail as initial costs could be very low due to the extremely high grade of the gold content with potential returns to juicy to pass up.
