Lunacy - perhaps.

My theory - not directed at any specific company.

I get the sense that many venture companies are kept active to ensure employment for the CEO and directors. They plod along with the odd bit of activity or news now and then, own a portion of the company for optics sake but when all is said and done, if they keep collecting executive salaries the primary purpose has been served. Is it possible that this type of setup is a calculated form of lucrative self-employment? If something pans out, it's a bonus, but they are living very well in the meantime. If things tank, they move on to another venture. I am certain that this is not the case with GoldNev.
