Inserted (buried?) in their most recent P.R. regarding coal, is the statement:
"The Company is continuing to develop the China Daye underground workings on the Golden Rose shaft where some stockpiling of ore has begun. The Minister of Commerce has not at this time approved the acquisition of the Daye 1750 tonne concentrator and the Company continues to meet with the Government officials to facilitate the purchase. Goldrea is in serious discussions with several prominent Chinese mining entities whom are interested in joint venturing or purchasing part of their resources at the Daye mine."
So... ore stockpiling is a sign of some progress, since it would have to be coming from the new Golden Rose shaft Goldrea put down. What the point of J.V.ing Daye mine would be, I sure don't know - other than some sort of new condition to getting Chinese gov't approval.
And if you look at what China is doing with molybdenum for example, I wouldn't disagree with you Darshan about their flavour of the day being "control those resources".
