Mr. Gary Anderson of High Ridge Resources reports

CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS INITIATED REGARDING DENIAL OF ACCESS TO HIGH RIDGE'S PERUVIAN PROPERTIES

In June, 2007, steel gates were erected and private security guards were posted on the public road leading to High Ridge Resources Inc.'s concessions and properties in the San Mateo area, Peru. Since then, the High Ridge Resources crews and those of its contractors have been prevented from reaching and working the company's Pacococha-Germania, Rosicler-El Domo and Chanape concessions.

High Ridge Resources president, Gary Anderson, stated: "We are satisfied that criminal proceedings have been commenced and procedure initiated to open the gates and remove the armed guards. The proceedings have been commenced against Leonard De Melt and Paul Gill, respectively, chairman and CEO of Grenville Gold Corp., and three local employees of Grenville Gold's Peruvian subsidiary, Inversiones Minera Alexander SAC."
