Grenville Changes Yearend

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwire - October 25, 2007) - Grenville Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE: GVG) (PINKSHEETS: GVLGF) (FRANKFURT: F9I) (ISIN CA 3977181070) (WKN: A0KELU) ("Grenville" or "the Company") announces that its Board of Directors has approved changing its financial yearend date from October 31 to December 31. The Company will report the fiscal year October 31, 2006 to October 31, 2007 and then report a two (2) month short fiscal year from November 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007. Thereafter, the Company will report from January 1st to December 31st with interims at March 31, June 30, and September 30. The change of the financial year was implemented to align the Company's reporting periods with the yearends of its operating companies based in Peru. Under Peruvian law, all corporations must have a fiscal yearend of December 31 and the Board of Directors concur that this change to the parent company yearend is necessary for audit purposes.
