Len De Melt, AscT, BA, HdM, Chairman
Mr. De Melt is an engineering technologist and a graduate of the Haileybury School of Mines. He also holds a bachelor of arts degree in business and economics and a diploma of mechanical studies from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He has held management positions with 12 mining companies internationally and was instrumental in starting and building six mines, including Gulf Oil's Rabbit Lake mine (uranium), Syncrude mine (oil sands), Denison Mines' Quintette (coal), Homestake's Golden Bear mine (gold), BHP's Ekati mine (diamonds) and Goldust's Croiner mine (gold). Mr. De Melt is well known within the mining industry and brings nearly 30 years of project management and mine development experience to the company. He was a director of several public and private mining companies, including Norsemont Resources Inc. and Vena Resources Inc.

Mr. Gill developed significant experience in the strategic development of private corporations and public resource companies such as Norsemont Mining Inc. and Lomiko Resources. He has held the positions of President, Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary and Vice-President of Business Development of Norsemont Mining Inc. and was also a co-founding director with Mr. De Melt. Mr. Gill is also the President of AJS Management Corp.

Melvin T. Rokosh, Chief Financial Officer & Corporate Secretary, Director
Mr. Rokosh is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), who has held various positions including Chief Financial Officer, Vice President Business Development, and Director, with public and private sector companies. He brings over 30 years of business experience in finance, administration, planning and development.

Frank J. Ricciuti, MBA
Mr. Ricciuti is currently the President of Efjay Consulting Ltd., a private financial and corporate advisory management company. Mr. Ricciuti also serves on the Board of Directors of four public companies; DEQ Systems Corp., Novik Inc., Gotar Inc. and Augyva Mining, all TSX and TSX Venture listed companies. During his career Mr. Ricciuti served on the Board of numerous public and private companies including Glendale International Corp., dot com Entertainment, Cortec Inc., Roxy Resources, Petrolympia and Hope Brook Gold. He also served as a Director of Enerplus, a TSE-listed Oil Royalty Income Trust and Investment Banking firms Research Capital, Merril Lynch Canada and Scotia Capital [formerly McLeod Young Weir]. Mr. Ricciuti was also a Senior Executive with BP Canada Inc., Canterra Energy, Merrill Lynch, Research Capital and Scotia McLeod during his career. More recently he served as the chairman of a Roxy Resources, a junior mining exploration company. Mr. Ricciuti earned a diploma in Engineering Technology from Ryerson University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technology University and an MBA from York University.

Michael Kraft, Director
Michael P. Kraft is the President of Buckingham Group Limited, a private merchant banking corporation and President of MPK Inc., a private business consulting corporation to both private and public corporations since 1994. He is also the President & Chief Executive Officer of Lingo Media Inc., a publisher of English language learning products and programs for the educational school market focused in China and has served in that capacity since its inception in 1996.Mr. Kraft has also been the President and co-founder of Lingo Media Ltd., a subsidiary of Lingo Media Inc. since 1994. He is also a director of JM Capital Corp. since June 2006 and Pioneering Technology Inc. since July 2006. Mr. Kraft received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University in 1985.

Roger is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of international experience in public practice, servicing a variety of clientele. He has been invovled in various Community-based organizations as a Director.

Jeffrey Reeder, P.Geo
Mr. Reeder graduated in 1988 from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology. He has been involved in the mineral resource business for over 15 years, including more than 10 years in South America. He is a director of Lateegra Resources and Acero-Martin Resources and has provided consulting services to mineral exploration and development companies.

Pete Childers
Mr. Childers holds degrees from Yale University and Duke University and has engaged in venture advising and board service in software, e-commerce, learning, clean technology and energy. He is an innovator with considerable experience advising and growing businesses across multiple sectors.He developed an extensive network of contacts while assisting in the growth of Red Hat Inc.(NYSE: RHAT) from the IPO stage to Nasdaq and then NYSE listing.

Jatinder (Jack) Bal
President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Jack Bal has served as our President, Chief Executive Officer and Director since November 2003, and is responsible for all aspects of our general management. Mr. Bal has over 11 years of experience in the resource industry and public markets. Mr. Bal has served as President of Centerline Capital Corp., a private management company since November 2003. Mr. Bal was Vice President of Electronic Settlement Services Inc., and Vice President and Director of Appareo Softare Inc., a software company that Mr. Bal helped to successfully guide to its CDNX listing in 2000. In addition, Mr. Bal served on the board of directors of Sainstar Ventures Inc., a capital pool company and Eaglestar Ventures Inc., also a capital pool company. Mr. Bal is currently a director of CMC Metals Corp. and Tech Solutions Capital Corp., both of which are resource companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Bal is also President and Director of Cascadia Energy Corp., a private US company in the business of acquiring and exploring oil and gas properties.

Clinton Sharples has served on our board of directors since October, 2005. Mr. Sharples has served as President of Paramount Pallet Inc. since 2002; previously he was Controller and held various Vice President positions with Paramount from 1994 to 2002. In addition, Mr. Sharples has been a partner in FGI Inc., a private investment company, since January, 1999. Mr. Sharples has served as a Director of Modu-Loc Fence rentals, Thermal Energy International and the Canadian Pallet Council.

Robert Bryce, BSc, MBA, PEng
Director
Robert Bryce has served on our board of directors since February, 2005. Since May, 1996, Mr. Bryce has served as President and Director of Abitex Resources Ltd., a nickel exploration company based in Val d”Or, Quebec. From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Bryce was President of Mining Operations for Aur Resources Inc., where he was in charge of the construction and development of the 4,000 tonne-per-day Louvicourt base-metal mine in Quebec, and General Manager of BHP Billiton’s 7,500 tonne-per-day Selbaie Mine in Quebec. Mr. Bryce currently serves as a Director for Western Wind Energy Corp., Tagish Lake Gold Corp., Kalahari Resources Inc., Alexis Minerals Corp. and Scorpio Mining Corp.

Lorne Torhjelm has served as our Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary since May, 2005 and May, 2004 respectively, and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our finances. Mr. Torhjelm is a self-employed investment manager, and is currently President and Director of Tech Solutions Capital Corp. and a Director of Panoro Minerals Ltd. In addition, Mr. Torhjelm is also the Corporate Secretary of Cascadia Energy Corp., a private US company in the business of acquiring and exploring oil and gas properties. Mr. Torhjelm was also President of RNJ Ventures Ltd. from 1989 to 2004.

Journey Announces Appointment of New Director and Vice President of Explorations

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 7, 2008) - Journey Resources Corp. ("Journey" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:JNY)(FRANKFURT:JL4) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Peter Pollard as a member of the Company's Board of Directors and the appointment of Dr. Chris Wilson as Vice President of Explorations effective February 6, 2008.

Dr. Peter Pollard graduated with a BSc (Hons) in geology in 1979 and a PhD in 1985 from James Cook University, Townsville, Australia. Mr. Pollard is a Qualified Person (under NI 43-101 and JORC), a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists. Mr. Pollard has over 20 years experience as a consultant in project generation and evaluation, paragenesis and breccia interpretation, and gold petrology. He has consulted on some of the major porphyry copper-gold (Grasberg, Oyu Tolgoi, Escondida Norte) and iron-oxide copper-gold (Olympic Dam, Carajas district deposits, and Cloncurry district) deposits worldwide. Mr. Pollard also runs a series of exploration training courses, which have been presented in over 15 countries. He has significant experience with low and high sulphidation silver-gold epithermal systems, silver-base metal vein systems, gold-copper-molybdenum porphyry systems, iron-oxide copper-gold mineralization, sediment-hosted copper and gold systems, and tin, tungsten, tantalum and rare-earth element mineralization. Mr. Pollard also worked as a research scientist at James Cook University for approximately 13 years, studying intrusion-related hydrothermal systems, mainly in copper-gold, tin-tungsten and rare-metal systems. In addition, Mr. Pollard ran a major research project for the Australian Minerals Industry research Association, studying iron-oxide copper-gold and Broken Hill-type lead-zinc-silver deposits in the Cloncurry district of Australia in the mid-1990's and has published over 60 papers in international journals and books. Peter is currently an exploration-focused, geological consultant with Dr. Chris Wilson, supplying geologists to projects worldwide.

Dr. Chris Wilson graduated with a BSc (Hons) in geology from University College of Wales, Aberystwyth in 1985 and with a PhD from the Flinders University of South Australia in 1991. Chris is a Qualified Person (NI43-101 and JORC) and is a Chartered Professional Geologist. He is Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists. Chris is an established geologist with over fifteen years broad experience in prospect generation and area selection through to the design and management of resource definition drilling programs. He has significant experience with low and high sulphidation silver-gold epithermal systems, silver-base metal vein systems, gold-copper-molybdenum porphyry systems, iron-oxide copper-gold styles of mineralization and sediment-hosted gold systems. Chris worked as an independent consultant and associate principal exploration geologist with SRK (UK) and SRK Exploration Services since 2005. Prior to that he worked with Ivanhoe Mines Ltd from 1995 and was the exploration manager for Ivanhoe Mines in Mongolia from 2002 until October 2004 when he was responsible for countrywide area selection, grass-roots exploration, and management of a copper-gold exploration portfolio consisting of over 125 licences totaling over 11 million hectares. Chris maintains an exploration-focused geological consultancy with Dr. Peter Pollard that supplies geologists to projects worldwide.

Dr. Pollard and Dr. Wilson bring over 35 years of exploration experience and presently manage a group of 8 exploration geologists. Dr. Chris Wilson comments: "Our team is looking forward to working closely with Journey and believe that there is obvious synergy between Journey's experience of project acquisition and management in North, Central and South America, and the experienced field-oriented exploration team that we have to offer";.
