Dr. Alvarez Calderon is a Peruvian attorney with a Masters Degree in Comparative Jurisprudence from the New York University School of Law (1970) and has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from ESAN University, Peru (1971). He is also a certified conciliator of the Ministry of Justice of Peru (since 2000), an arbitrator on several arbitration centers, including the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. Dr. Alvarez Calderon is Honorary Consul of Trinidad and Tobago in Peru since 2000 and a senior Partner of Estudio Alvarez Calderon - Abogados, since 1987. He has 15 years of experience in international banking in Lima, New York, London, Caracas and Bahrain, and has been a consultant to Canadian junior mining companies during the past 15 years.
