| VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 23, 2009) - Grenville Gold Corporation ("Grenville" or "the Company"), (TSX VENTURE:GVG)(PINK SHEETS:GVLGF)(FRANKFURT:F9I)(WKN:A0K... announces it has received an expression of interest on its two Peru projects, Espanola and Silveria. The company has previously retained Intercapital Canada Inc. ("Intercapital") for financial advice and Asesoria Legal Y Empresarial S.A.C. ("ALESAC") for legal advice. Representatives of Intercapital and ALESAC are currently attending meetings in China and Peru, respectively. The company cautions shareholders that there is no assurance that a specific proposal will arise as a result of the expressions of interest. Negotiations resulting from an expression of interest may or may not result in any specific transaction and no timetable has been set for the completion of any potential transaction.
