Halo’s Key Asset: The Sherridon Polymetallic Property, Manitoba (70 km N/E of Flin Flon)

  • 200 sq km VMS district under one ownership
  • 100% ownership for 85% of acreage
  • Unexplored for 50 years
  • Excellent infrastructure and access (Rail, Road &
  • Power)
  • Target rich environment - 66 km of potential
  • mineralized horizon
  • 5 surface deposits within 5-km radius

The Sherridon VMS Property covers an area of over 20,876 hectares and hosts the past-producing Sherridon Mine that was operated by Sherritt Gordon Mines from 1933 to 1950 and produced 7.7 million tonnes of ore with recovered grades of 2.46% copper and 0.8% zinc. Results from an airborne geophysical survey completed in the summer of 2006 identified an additional 122 targets. Over 25,000 m of diamond drilling have been completed since November 2006 and drilling continues year-round.

Two NI43-101 compliant resource estimates - one for the Sherridon Jungle Lake Zone and one for the nearby Cold, Lost and Bob Zones have been filed on SEDAR . The property is located only 70 km northeast of the mining and metallurgical complex in Flin Flon operated by HudBay Minerals Inc.

Future development of the property is facilitated by the presence of an all-weather road and railroad access as well as a power line and communications tower.

West Red Lake Gold Property, Red Lake, Ontario

  • Partnership with Goldcorp
  • 9 km x 5 km property recently consolidated 25 km west of the Goldcorp Red Lake operations
  • 81 g/t gold, 100 g/t silver and 4.6% copper over 0.7 m sampled by Halo from trench indicative of high grade potential
  • 60 line-kilometers of geophysical surveys that identified drill targets

The Halo-Goldcorp Joint Venture is exploring 15 sq. km. located 25 km west of the Red Lake mines which have produced 25 million ounces of gold.

Relatively unexplored for 70 years, recent field programs identified samples with up to 172 g/t gold, 6% nickel and 2% cobalt coincident with geophysical anomalies During October 2006, Halo commenced a mapping, sampling and prospecting program focused on the Middle Bay-May Spiers area. Sampling of old trenches successfully confirmed the presence of significant gold, silver and copper mineralization and the results of a whole rock geochemistry program confirms the favorability of the underlying geology for the discovery of these metals.

For example, a sample collected near the 9-44 “shaft” located in the center of the Halo property returned 81 g/t Au, 100 g/t Ag and 4.61% Cu over a width of 0.7 m.

Duport Gold Property. Kenora, Ontario

  • 316,000 ounces of high grade gold in resource category with exploration targets at depth and along strike
  • 81,282 m of diamond drilling completed and 3,760 m of underground development
  • Recent joint venture with Hay’s Lake to advance the project

The Duport Project is located on Stevens Island in Shoal Lake, 45 km southwest of Kenora, Ontario and hosts a resource of 316,000 ounces of gold, based on 3.8 km of underground development and 81 km of core drilling.
