11:43 AM EST, 02/28/2017 (MT Newswires) -- Merrex Gold Inc. (MXI.V) has completed its previously announced transaction involving IAMGOLD Corporation (IMG.TO) whereby IAMGOLD has acquired of all of the outstanding securities of Merrex pursuant to a statutory plan of arrangement. It is expected that the Merrex common shares will be de-listed from the TSX Venture Exchange.
