Mr. Peter Jones

Interim President & CEO

Peter Jones is a graduate of the Rugby College of Engineering, England. He has more than 40 years of experience in the mining industry and has held senior international operating and executive positions in open-pit and underground mines producing a wide range of metals and minerals.
Beginning with Anglo American in Zambia he moved to Canada joining Newmont Mines Limited and worked in a number of operations in Canada and the USA. He later joined Princeton Mining Corp. (formerly Cassiar Mining) where he had several senior operational and executive positions culminating in Executive Vice President.
In early 1990, he joined Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting as VP Operations and in 1994 was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer.. Hudson Bay was Canada's third largest producer of copper and zinc and also produces silver, gold and cadmium. During Peter’s tenure, he rationalized its operations closing 5 mines (1 copper, 1 zinc, 2 copper/zinc and 1 nickel mine) and opened two copper/zinc mines with a third potential mine in final feasibility (and subsequent operation) as well as overseeing the modernization and installation of a new Zinc extraction process.
At the beginning of 1997 Peter joined Inco Ltd. and from early 2001 to late 2006 was the President and Chief Operating Officer and a Director of Inco Ltd., the western world's largest nickel producer. He was a Chairman of the Board of PT International Nickel Indonesia and Goro Nickel. Reporting to the Chairman and CEO, Peter was responsible for Inco's worldwide producing operations, projects, exploration, research and development and Environment and Health services, with particular emphasis on profitability and growth.

Ms. Carol T. Banducci

Chief Financial Officer

Carol Banducci brings more than 20
years of financial management and
strategic leadership experience with
leading global businesses to IAMGOLD.
Prior to joining the Company, Carol was
the VP Finance and a Director of Royal
Group Technologies, where she led
comprehensive integration, restructuring
and cost improvement initiatives. Carol
has had extensive finance experience in
statutory and management reporting,
audit, forecasts, capital programs,
treasury, tax, acquisitions and
divestments, pension fund management,
insurance and information technology.
She has held senior finance roles with the
world's leading supplier of explosives and
blasting technology. Other positions held
include CFO and Vice President, Orica
Explosives North America, CFO and Vice
President of Finance and IT, ICI
Explosives Canada & Latin America,
International Controller, ICI International
Explosives, Treasurer of ICI Canada Inc.,
and CFO and Vice President Finance of
Canadian General-Tower Limited. Carol
oversees all aspects of the finance and IT
functions for IAMGOLD. She graduated
from the University of Toronto with a
Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Mr. Gordon Stothart

Chief Operations Officer

Gordon Stothart joined IAMGOLD in
December of 2007 and brings over 20
years of industry experience to the
position of COO. In his previous role,
Gordon was responsible for technical
management and development of three
major copper projects in South America
as well as oversight of the large scale
Antamina and Collahuasi mines. Prior to
this role, Gordon served as the General
Manager and Operations Manager at
Lomas Bayas in Chile and Antamina in
Peru as well as holding Engineering
Management positions at the Brunswick
and Bell Mines in Canada. He also spent
several years as a Manager within the
Business Development group for a
multinational metals producer and
provided technical analysis for global
acquisition opportunities. Gordon
graduated from the University of British
Columbia in 1987 with a Double Major in
Mining and Mineral Process Engineering.

Mr. Larry E. Phillips

Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs

Larry E. Phillips, Senior Vice President,
Corporate Affairs, LLB, member of the Bar of
Ontario since 1981. Prior to participating in
the creation of IAMGOLD in 1990, Mr. Phillips
was the managing partner of a Toronto law
firm, specializing in corporate commercial
law.
Mr. Phillips was one of the original founders
of IAMGOLD and served as an officer and
Director of the company from 1990 until the
company became a public listed company in
March 1996 when he held the title of Vice
President, Corporate Development. Mr.
Phillips was primarily responsible for
negotiating mining rights acquisitions,
government mining Conventions and major
joint venture arrangements with other major
mining companies. He has worked directly
with the CEO and Chairman on all aspects of
Corporate development and been involved in
a number of equity financings for the
Company. As Vice President of Corporate
Affairs he works directly with the CEO on
major transactions, government negotiations
and matters impacting the overall business of
the Company. As Corporate Secretary he
oversees matters of governance and
regulatory compliance relating to the
Company and the Board of Directors.

Mr. John McCombe

Senior Vice President, Africa

John McCombe PEng., has been with
IAMGOLD since September, 2005. Mr.
McCombe graduated from Queen’s
University in 1983 with a B.Sc. in mining
engineering. Upon graduation Mr.
McCombe joined Dickenson Mines (now
Goldcorp) at their Red Lake operation
where he held various mine and mill
operating positions. In 1993 Mr. McCombe
joined a US based consulting firm as
project manager where he was responsible
for several projects in the former Soviet
Union. In 1995 Mr. McCombe joined
Breakwater Resources and held various
roles in Canada, Honduras and Chile where
he was responsible for operations, project
expansions, project start-ups and
exploration programs. In October 2004 Mr.
McCombe joined Breakwater’s Toronto
office as Vice President Operations where
he was responsible for their 3 international
and 3 Canadian mines.

Mr. Mike Donnelly

Senior Vice President, Exploration

Michael Donnelly, Senior Vice President,
Exploration, P. Geo., graduated from
Colorado State University with a
Bachelors and Masters of Science in
Geology. He began his career as a Field
Geologist with Noranda Exploration in the
U.S., and over time held successive
positions of increasing responsibility
within Noranda Exploration in the
Southwest and Eastern U.S. In 1995,
Michael relocated to Chile and rose to the
position of General Manger Exploration –
Southern Hemisphere for Noranda. In
2003, he moved to Toronto where he held
the position of General Manager Copper
Exploration Latin America with the
combined Noranda-Falconbridge groups.
In this position, he was directly involved
with the planning and execution of their
global exploration efforts.
Michael brings a successful exploration
track record to IAMGOLD and extensive
international experience in the mining
industry. Notable achievements include
hands-on involvement with the discovery
and delineation of four significant gold
and base metals deposits in addition to
the world-class La Fortuna deposit in
Chile.

Mr. Paul Olmsted

Senior Vice President, Corporate Development

Paul B. Olmsted is Vice President,
Corporate Development of IAMGOLD
Corporation. He is a graduate of Queen’s
University with a B.Sc. in mining
engineering and an MBA. In 1984, he
joined Goldfields of South Africa where he
spent four years at various South African
underground deep level gold mining
operations holding both operational and
planning positions. He completed his MBA
in 1991 and subsequently joined the Bank
of Nova Scotia’s corporate lending group
specializing in mining finance. He actively
participated in the evaluation, structuring
and negotiation of debt financing
transactions with a total value in excess of
$1 billion.
Paul joined Repadre Capital Corporation in
1996 and in 1999 was appointed Vice
President, Corporate Development. He has
been instrumental in the evaluation and
technical evaluation, financial analysis and
structuring for the significant corporate
transactions undertaken during his tenure.

Mr. Ross Gallinger

Senior Vice President, Health, Safety & Sustainability

Ross Gallinger, P.Ag. graduated from the
University of British Columbia with a
Bachelors of Science in Agriculture. He
began his career as Assistant Environmental
Coordinator at the Equity Silver Mine in
Houston, B.C. From there, he held
environmental positions with the Premier
Gold Project, the Bell Mine, as well as
Northwood Pulp and Timber.
In 1995, Mr. Gallinger relocated to Toronto
where he rose to the position of Director,
Environment for Rio Algom Limited, with
responsibilities for many projects in South
America. In this capacity, he received the
President’s Award for lifetime achievement for
his contribution to the success of the
Antamina Project.
In 2000, Mr. Gallinger moved to Chile as
Manager, Health, Safety, Environment and
Community for the Spence Project. After
Billiton’s purchase of Rio Algom and the
subsequent merger with BHP, he was named
Manager, Environment for the Base Metals
division of BHPBilliton, relocating to Houston,
Texas, in 2003.
From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Gallinger was Vice
President, Sustainability with Placer Dome
Canada in Toronto.
Mr. Gallinger joined IAMGOLD Corporation in
May 2006.

Ms. Janet Wilkinson

Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Janet Wilkinson has over 18 years of
experience in the mining industry with
extensive experience working at both
Corporate and Regional levels. Janet has
particular Human Resources expertise in
the areas of strategic human resources,
mergers and acquisitions, employee
relations, labour relations, policy
development and benefits and
compensation. Prior to joining IAMGOLD,
Janet was the Director – Employee &
Labour Relations for Falconbridge Ltd,
with responsibilities for all international
and domestic locations. Her site
experience includes postings at Kidd
Metallurgical Division, Falconbridge –
Sudbury Operations, Brunswick Mining &
Smelting, Bell Copper, Mattabi Mine and
Central Canada Potash. Janet has a
Masters in Industrial Relations from the
University of Toronto and an honours
undergraduate degree in Psychology and
Human Kinetics from the University of
Guelph.

Mr. William D. Pugliese

Chairman

Mr. Pugliese is businessman and an original
founder of the Company. From 1990 to
1993 he held the position of Co-chairman
and Chief Executive Officer of the
Company. In January 2003, Mr. Pugliese
stepped down from the position of Chief
Executive Officer and has continued in his
role as Chairman of the Board. He
participated directly in the evolution of the
company, including the development of the
Sadiola concession in Mali through his
dealings with government officials and jointventure
partners. Mr. Pugliese has an
extensive business background developed
over a period of 35 years as the principal
shareholder in a number of private
Canadian companies, which include;
internet-based business directories and data
marketing, the development of recreational
resort properties in Canada and the
development and licensing of Smartboard, a
patented construction product technology.

Mr. Derek Bullock

Director

A Board member since October 1994, Mr. Bullock is a mining engineer with over 40
years international experience and was formerly President and Chief Operating Officer
of the Company. He is currently the President of Delitova Corporation, a mining and
mineral resources company. Mr. Bullock also serves as a director of CANARC
Resources Corporation, a TSX-listed company; Goldcrest Resources, a TSX-listed
company; and Absolut Resources Corporation, a TSX-listed company. He formerly
was the Canadian Institute of Mining Adjunct Professor of Mining Engineering at the
University of Toronto. Mr. Bullock has been a director of IAMGOLD since 1994.

Mr. Donald K. Charter

Director

Mr. Charter recently stepped down as
Executive Vice President of Dundee
Bancorp Inc., Executive Vice President of
Dundee Wealth Management, Chairman &
Chief Executive Officer of Dundee Securities
Corporation and Dundee Private Investors
Inc. Prior to joining Dundee Bancorp Inc. in
January, 1996, Mr. Charter was a partner at
Smith Lyons where he practiced as a
securities lawyer since 1983, specializing in
Mergers & Acquisitions. Mr. Charter sits on
the board of a number of companies
including Dundee Wealth Management Inc.,
Repadre Capital Corporation, Dundee
Realty Corporation, Breakwater Resources
Ltd. and Black Hawk Mining Inc. Mr.
Charter has been a director of IAMGOLD
since 2003.

Mr. John E. Caldwell

Director

John Caldwell is the President and Chief Executive Officer of SMTC Corporation since October 2003. Previously, he was an independent consultant and corporate director, and from October 2002 to September 2003, he held positions in the Mosaic Group Inc. (a marketing services provider) as Chair of the Restructuring Committee of the Board; in Geac Computer Corporation Limited (a computer software company) as a consultant from December 2001 to October 2002 and as President and Chief Executive Officer from October 2000 to December 2001; and in CAE Inc. (a flight simulation and training services company) from January 1988 to October 1999, including President and Chief Executive Officer from June 1993 to October 1999 and Chief Financial Officer from 1988 to 1992. Mr. Caldwell also serves on the board of directors of ATI Technologies Inc., Cognos Inc., Faro Technologies Inc., Rothmans, Inc., Parmalat Dairy and Bakery Inc. and SMTC Corporation. Mr. Caldwell has been a director of IAMGOLD since 2006.

Mr. W. Robert Dengler

Director

Mr. Dengler is currently serving as Vice-
Chairman of the Board of Directors of
Dynatec Corporation, a company he cofounded
in 1980. Mr. Dengler holds a
Bachelor of Science degree (1965) from
Queen's University and was awarded an
Honorary Doctorate of Science from
Queen’s University in 1988. Before cofounding
Dynatec, Mr. Dengler was a
partner and Vice-President & General
Manager of J.S. Redpath Limited. Mr.
Dengler has authored several technical
publications on shaft sinking and Long
Round Development®. Mr. Dengler has
been a director of IAMGOLD since 2005,
and a director of Denison Mines since 2004.

Mr. Guy G. Dufresne

From 1992 to October 2006, Mr. Guy G. Dufresne has held the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer of Québec Cartier Mining Company, a producer of iron ore products. Prior to joining that company, Mr. Dufresne held progressive senior positions within the forest product industry including President and CEO of Kruger Inc. Mr. Dufresne also chairs the Conseil du patronat du Québec and is Chairman of the Chamber of Maritime Commerce. Mr. Dufresne earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering at the École Polytechnique de Montréal, a master's degree of engineering (M.Eng.) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA at Harvard University. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada and of Tembec Inc.

Mr. Jean-André Élie possesses vast experience as an officer of both medium and large sized companies. Mr. Élie sits on boards of several public and private companies, as well as non-profit organizations. Mr. Élie has an MBA from Western Ontario University (1968), a B.C.L. from McGill University (1965) and a B.A. from the University of Montreal (1962). Mr. Élie is also a member of the Quebec Bar Association.

Mr. Stephen Freedhoff

Mr. Freedhoff has been a self-employed
financial consultant since 1999, and brings
more than 30 years of accounting experience
as a partner with a national accounting firm.
Mr. Freedhoff is also a member of the Board
of CryptoLogic Inc. and Chairman of the
Audit Committee. Mr. Freedhoff has been a
director of IAMGOLD since 2005.

Mr. Mahendra Naik

Director

Mahendra Naik has been associated with the Company since March 1990 and served as Chief Financial Officer until 1999. Mr. Naik is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Yellow Online Inc. and Chief Financial Officer of the Fundeco Inc., group of companies. Prior to March 1990, Mr. Naik was a principal at Coopers & Lybrand, Chartered Accountants. Mr. Naik has been a director of IAMGOLD since 2000.

Mr. Shaw brings to IAMGOLD technical and strategic expertise gained from 40 years
development and operating experience in the mining industry internationally. He is a
geological engineer and until his retirement six years ago was Vice President of Australian
Operations of Placer Dome Asia Pacific and Managing Director for Kidston Gold Mines
Limited. He has also served as a director of Delta Gold Limited, Kingsgate Consolidated
Limited, Aurion Gold Limited and Zimbabwe Platinum Mines Limited (Chairman). Presently
he is chairman of Tri-Origin Minerals Limited and Lodestone Exploration Limited. Mr. Shaw
has been a director of IAMGOLD since 2006.
