Iberian Minerals Announces Stock Option Grants

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 29, 2011) - Iberian Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:IZN) announced today that a total of 5,000,000 options to acquire registered shares of the Company have been granted to its directors, officers and certain employees at an exercise price of $0.90 per registered share. The options are non-assignable and have a five-year term. Certain of the options are subject to vesting over a three year period as to one-third per year, commencing one year after the date of grant.

Following the grant, there are a total of 15,735,000 options to acquire registered shares outstanding pursuant to Iberian's Stock Option Plan.
