Randy Miller's got the Midas touch

posted on Dec 14, 10 12:32PM

When Randy intially bought into UMJ, it was my opinion that he considered it more then an investment. I believe that opinion was proven accurate when ISM issued their release requesting a replacement of the entire board at UMJ.

With the recent news announcement by UMJ and the resulting sp jump, Randy once again looks like a genius. In a relatively short time frame, he has doubled ISM's investment (dollar wise) in UMJ. What type of intuition did Randy have to know that UMJ was ready to announce a substantial profit? How did Randy intuitively broker a substantial PP, raising millions just prior to the recent economic collapse, ensuring ISM's survival while many others collapsed.

I personally am not a big fan of Randy as I do not like the lack of communication that he fosters. I not a fan of the "Golden Parachute" that was instituted - although, I am confident that was the "poison pill" recommended by the firm hired some time ago to review the liability of a take-over. However, I must admire him for his ability to survive. He certainly has made sure that ISM is fiscally strong and will be around for many years to come, in some form or another. Randy has proven he is very adept at consistently pulling rabbits out of a hat. I am still waiting for randy to apply his savy intuition to the sale of langmuir.

Is indeed ISM's investment into UMJ truly an investment? Pretty darn good one if it truly was an investment! If it was not an investment, future share purchases are gonna be a lot more expensive. What happens now? Cash in the investment? Or buy more? idk - but if I were a betting man, I would follow randy's lead.
