It appears that IVW posted two releases dated Feb. 29 and then, for whatever reason, decided to remove references to them from the IVW site. There was a brief interlude when the site was not accessible and now it seems to be back in operation, with all refernece to the two notices removed. I only scanned them quickly and was planning to go back to read them more carefully. I believe they were relatively negative for IVW in terms of a startup date for the new shipping method and port. They seemed to reflect political actions that were intended to make the shipping process safer but also more onerous on IVW. It appeared that the politicians might be reacting to some public pressure to be seen to be removing all possible risk of an accident when shipments recommence. The releases are probably available at another site if one knew where to look.
