Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks - Jay Taylor

posted on Jan 05, 09 07:03AM

Jay Taylor in the Oct. 16, 2008, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks tells readers to buy JNR Resources Inc., recently 31.5 cents. Mr. Taylor said buy on March 27, 2006, at 87 cents and on Oct. 3, 2006, at 99 cents. He said sell half on May 2, 2007, at $3.45. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the two buys, selling half of the $2,000 investment at $3.45 would have yielded a profit of $2,696. The remaining $1,000 investment is now worth $340. Mr. Taylor says that the recent decline in global markets has caught him off guard. He expects market pressure to continue for some time and has decided to hang onto those stocks with a considerable amount of cash on their balance sheets. The newsletter writer hopes to turn these negative markets to his favour. Another newsletter service, Casey Energy Opportunities, said buy JNR Resources five times between March, 2006, and July, 2008, at prices ranging from 73 cents to $3.08.
