James Bay Resources Announces Drill Results From McFauld's Lake Property

- Results from 11 holes intersect non-economic VMS zones

- Airborne geophysics on newly acquired G-Block reveal new EM anomalies

- Approx. $8.4 million in treasury as at completion of fall drill program

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 5, 2008) - James Bay Resources Limited (TSX VENTURE:JBR) ("James Bay" or the "Company") announces drill results from its continuing drill program on its McFauld's Lake 'Ring of Fire' property in northern Ontario.

Eleven holes totaling 2,138 metres were drilled to test the 5 km long EM trend and other nearby EM conductors on the C-Block, C-Block Extension and D-Block. All drill holes intersected massive to semi massive sulphide sections of pyrrhotite with minor pyrite and trace chalcopyrite.

All analytical results for the 11 holes have been received by James Bay Resources. Lab analyses returned weakly anomalous values of Cu and Zn across the 5 km long EM trend as well as other EM conductors drill tested. No anomalous precious metal values were returned. All drill holes successfully explained the nature of the EM conductors being drill-tested.

The Company began drilling in late September and suspended drilling on October 31 due to freeze-up. Drill targets were selected based on VTEM airborne surveys, which indicated several electromagnetic conductors including the 5 km long trend flanking a large domal magnetic feature. James Bay is currently evaluating the balance of targets, geophysics and geology at its 'Ring of Fire' property.

The Company currently has approx. $8.4 million in treasury and is well-positioned to continue exploration initiatives at its 'Ring of Fire' property.

This news release has been prepared under the supervision of Brad Leonard P. Geo., Exploration Manager of James Bay Resources, who is the designated qualified person under NI 43-101 for the technical information contained in this news release.
