Well, I look forward to participating on this forum, hopefully involving others in meaningful discussion of company fundamentals. This brief project summary was taken with permission (from mooreman - a geologist) from another forum. It includes a few more additional facts on top of those posted in the previous message.
"...Obviously, given the repetitive posts this week, most followers of the company are aware of recent results from the Musgrove Ceek Project where a there's an outlined resource of 314 000 oz. gold per tonne. The two promising intersections reported this week of 1.5 m of 22 g gold / tonne and 1.5 m of 14.3 g gold / tonne are quite encouraging in that they are grades far above any previously reported on the property to date, where the resource grades an average 1.2 g gold per tonne.
The company also holds a 50% interest in the Vianney Mine in Mexico. The mine holds a historic resource grading 3.7% zinc, 2% lead and 296 g silver/tonne. In a previous email from Jack Bal, he stated to me that there are currently 10 full time employees rehabilitating the mine in preparation for underground sampling and drilling in the near future.
The company also holds a 50% interest in the Empire Mine where there's an outlined resource of 33 million tonnes of 0.44% copper, 0.20% zinc, 0.25 g gold per tonne and 6.6 g silver per tonne.
Recently, the company began its "foray" into Peru. Journey has acquired the Silver Mountain property which is in "elephant country", being in vicinity of Peru Copper's Toromocho property and Pan American Silver's Morococho Mine. Silver Mountain has 4 drifts developed on 4 levels, approximately 2 km in length. The silver veins are open along strike and at depth, providing excellent opportunity for resource expansion.
Finally, Journey has recently entered a joint venture to acquire up to 75 % of the Silveria Project in Peru. An extensive exploration and development project has recently begun on the property examining existing ore blocks, the tailings ponds and unexploited gossanous regions on the property. Of note, Journey has recently retained the services of quite reputable, experienced mine and exploration personnel to lead the development of programs on these Peruvian silver properties.
No hype - these are Journey's fundamentals! Five great projects, all with outlined resources. All with the potential to transform Journey from junior explorer to profitable miner, and in turn create share appreciation for its shareholders...."
