11:43 AM EDT, 04/13/2017 (MT Newswires) -- Kirkland Lake Gold (KL.TO) fell in recent trade after BMO Capital increased its target price to $12.75 while maintaining a market perform rating.

BMO said Kirkland Lake recently completed the merger with Newmarket Gold, and the company intends to explore its large land packages in Canada and Australia.

BMO's EPS forecast rise to $0.77 for 2017 but goes down to $1.07 for 2018.
