Klondike Silver Corp. (TSX-V: KS) is pleased to announce the results of recent exploration and development of the Hinckley silver-lead-zinc property in the Sandon camp in southeastern British Columbia. A Mine Permit (M65) has been approved, and rehabilitation of the main 3800 level is largely completed. The lode is exposed underground between the 3800 and 3900 levels, and a stope between these levels has also been largely rehabilitated.
Underground, the vein trends northeast (025°) and dips steeply to the east. It is exposed through a vertical relief of approximately 50 meters, of varying widths. Extraction of ore from the vein will commence immediately, for processing at Klondike Silver’s mill in Sandon, B.C.
Further exploration on the Hinckley vein system, by underground drilling, will test extensions and offsets of known mineralization. As well, examination of historical documents and plans have shown the location of a second parallel vein structure that will also be tested by underground drilling.
Hinckley represents one of several properties in Klondike Silver’s Sandon camp that are currently undergoing exploration and development.
