No one knows your financial situation but you. If you thought this stock had become hopeless (for whatever reason) or that the metals market was doomed to current or lower levels longer than you can afford to wait, or perhaps you wish to take a loss for tax consequences, the answer seems obvious.

I have been using this down segment to strengthen my position in the stocks I have the most confidence in. Time will tell if I have out-smarted myself.
