This is a very good observation thobbs one that I wasn't aware of before. I understand however there are serious issues that will arise in these nations local economies should they abolish these benefits to drivers.

On the other hand here in Canada with taxes so high on pretty much everything, they need to concede on something if they want to keep consumption and the economy moving. People living in Ontario particularly are really tightening their belts.
