Barrick Gold Corp. chairman Peter Munk exercised 750,000 options for company shares at $28.35 each on Feb. 4, 2008. His total company holdings after these transactions was 750,000 shares.

Kootenay Gold Inc. Robert Gardner sold 57,000 company shares through Pacific Point Holdings Ltd. at prices from $1.60 to $1.65 on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 2008.

Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec bought 50,000 shares in Teck Cominco Ltd. at prices ranging from $34.90 to $35.24 on Feb. 4 and Feb. 5, 2008. Its total Teck holdings after these transactions was 8,454,831 shares.
