Mr. Cuilhé is President and CEO of La Mancha since the reverse takeover in September 2006. Prior to joining La Mancha, Mr. Cuilhé has been an Executive within the Areva group of Companies since 1975. He gained extensive experience in global management, asset valorization and M&A through several assignments across the group. Until 2006 he was CEO and CFO of FCI in France, who used to be Areva's subsidiary involved in the connectors industry. Mr. Cuilhé holds an ESCAE degree (1975) from Reims Management School in Reims, France.
Mr. Plyley is a seasoned mining veteran with more than 35 years of management and hands on experience in the U.S and international mineral industries. His work record includes employment with some of the most successful gold mining companies in North America and Australia.
He holds a BSc. in Metallurgical Engineering from the Mackay School of Mines, University of Nevada, Reno. Mr. Plyley served as Mill Superintendent at Placer Dome's Kidston and Porgera mines and General Mine Manager at its Granny Smith mine in Western Australia. Subsequently, he held the positions of General Manager, Bronzewing Mine (Newmont/Normandy) and General Manager, Transformation & Continuous Improvement with Newmont Australia.
As General Manager Chirano Gold Mines, he was responsible for bringing the first Mine Lease in Ghana, West Africa, through feasibility into production. Recently, he provided contract negotiation services for a US$100 million new mine project in Namibia, Southern Africa.
Prior to joining La Mancha, he operated a successful consulting business focused on delivering mining management, organizational change and leadership development to international mining clients.
A business graduate from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, Ms. Russeil has been the Financial Controller of the gold mining activities of Areva NC since April 2006. Prior to this, she held a number of financial positions within Areva NC, including the position of Corporate Controller of the Mining Business Unit.
An MBA graduate from HEC Montreal, Mr. Amyot has more than 9 years of experience in finance. Prior to joining La Mancha, he consecutively acted as VP Loan Structuration and Syndication at National Bank Financial and as Investor Relation Manager at Cambior. Mr. Amyot also holds an LL.B from Université Laval and is a member of the Quebec Bar.
Mr Kachrillo has gained an extensive experience in geologic exploration, mainly with Cogema, for both, gold and uranium. He overlooked several exploration missions in Sénégal, Mali, Zaïre and Portugal. Prior to joining La Mancha, he acted as Assistant Managing Director for Solenvironement, a consultant firm specialized in environmental water management. He holds a PHD Geology from the University of Nancy, France.
Mr. Sierak has more than 25 years of experience in the mining industry, gained mostly in exploration and in mine management functions. Prior to joining La Mancha, in 2006, he was Deputy General Manager of the Hassaï mine. Mr. Sierak holds a PHD in Geology from Toulouse Paul Sabatier University.
Mr. Poot has more than 25 years of experience in the mining industry gained mostly in Mine Manager positions. Mr. Poot holds a Mining and Geologist Engineer degrees from University of Liège, Belgium. Prior to his current position with La Mancha, Mr. Poot held the position of General Manager for UraMin Centrafrique S.A., a subsidiary of UraMin Inc.
