Latin American Minerals Reports on Heads of Agreement Regarding the Tendal Massive Sulphide Zinc, Lead and Copper Project in Argentina

TORONTO, ONTARIO - (Aug. 31, 2009) - Latin American Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:LAT) (the "Corporation") announces that it has been unable to reach a final agreement with Cadillac Ventures Inc. in regards to the previously announced Head of Agreement (press release dated June 16, 2009) concerning the Corporation's Tendal massive sulphide zinc, lead and copper project in Argentina, and the Corporation does not intent to pursue further negotiations.
