The SEC in the U.S. makes naked short selling ban permanent as of July27/09.They are also looking at Short selling with a public round table on Sept30/09 to discuss securities lending,pre-borrowing,and possible additional short sale disclosures.IMO, this is great news for all markets.It's about tme something was done about stopping these manipulators,now ,if only our Canadian Regulators would get off their butts and do the same. As I recall,this was discussed quite often a year ago or so,also on many other forums on AG and SH
